Friday Finds....Tomato Garden

"Knowledge is knowing that tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is knowing that tomato should not be included in a fruit salad." ~ Unknown

Look what I found in my garden! These two were on different plants, but had the same odd characteristic schnoz. I made some pasta sauce with a bucketful, but these two were just too cute to cut...yet.

Here are a few fun tomato finds on Etsy...

I learned in a class that tomatoes were once believed to be sinful. That if eaten the person would be consumed with lust!

Cute tomatoes! My 4 yr old daughter loves tomatoes and will often times choose a fresh tomato over a cookie if you can believe that! The first photo reminds me of my great grandfather. He grew a garden when I was child and was quite the character. One day he brought over a tomato similar to yours but the "nose" was much bigger. He thought it would be funny to tell me it grew that way because he peed on his plants!
